Dornoch Cathedral
The Cathedral is a 13th Century red sandstone Parish Church set in the heart of the former royal burgh of Dornoch. It is the most northerly cathedral on the mainland of Great Britain. Try to make time to visit the Cathedral, which is a real gem. Its stained glass windows are beautiful, its history fascinating and the whole place exudes calm and serenity despite a turbulent past.
