East Sutherland Camera Club

East Sutherland Camera Club extends a warm welcome to new members. The club meets in the Community Centre on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month between September and June at 7pm. Click here for the 2023-14 programme. 

The regular meetings include monthly themed photographic competitions and talks by club members as well as visiting photographers. There will be two sub themes this year: getting more out of your smartphone and making your images more meaningful and impactful. In addition this year we plan to provide training in camera skills over Zoom on alternative Tuesdays. These will include topics such as mastering exposure, capturing motion and long exposures. Photographic field trips are arranged with tuition when required to locations in the area as well as day trips further afield to the west and north coasts. The club is also active in providing photographic support for local events such as the Sutherland Show.

The club is looking for new members and all are welcome to come along and sample the first month without commitment. No fancy kit needed, just an interest in taking photographs.
